priorities
In college it is really hard to keep your priorities straight. A lot of college students party and then there grades began to slip. Something I learned from being in college thus far, is that you have to do what is important first before you can go and have fun. I am not someone who can make a schedule each day so I have to keep track of what I have to do each ay. I have tried and tried to keep a daily schedule and it just does not work for me. I wish it did though because it would make things a lot easier for me. What I do works for me though. I have a white board and I write everything I need to get done for each day and I will write it in different colors. The reason I write it in different colors is to have a scale of what is most important and what is the least important. College is really time consuming and I do think having a set thing that works for you for each day is really important.

College
You always hear that high school and college are two totally different things. Most people do not take this seriously, and they kind of blow it off. Well that is what I did. I didnt really listen to anyone when they said I would need to study a whole lot more when i got to college. Now i totally regret that decision. College really is a whole different experience. In high school you had people walking you through everything and reminding you of what was due and when it was due. When you get to college however, you do not have anyone there to tell you to do your homework or to remind you when an assignment is due. This is hard to get used to when you have been helped your whole life. Also teachers in college are a lot more strcit than they are in high school. Most teachers in high school are very understanding, but in college, very few professors are understanding. If you miss a test you cant make it up. I have learned that in college attendance is very important and you have to be on top of things more so than in high school.
